It can be used with the factory tow hook.

Laser-cut from 3/16" thick steel and CNC-folded for consistent fit and strength, it’s finished in a durable, environmentally friendly black powder coat over a zinc-rich primer for long-lasting corrosion resistance.

This skid plate mounts directly to the frame with no drilling required. Two threaded inserts install easily into factory holes using the included tool—no special equipment needed.

With its high-clearance profile and optimized approach angle, this skid plate helps your Xterra avoid hang-ups on rough terrain while guarding critical components up front.
